FILM GROUP
In November 1963, the film-makers began work at the school, for the eagerly awaited "Western". With a meagre plot, plenty of spontaneous action, and a great deal of luck, we "shot" the entire saga in a matter of hours; with an elaborate set comprising a bar, saloon doors, a rickety card table, assorted bottles and glasses and lethal weapons.
We intended to punctuate the "Western" with advertisements so that the story would become even less comprehensible and in January, we went on location, this time to Bucks, to complete the production. After this parody of some of the better-known and well-loved advertisements, we feel that we can never again take the genuine article seriously. The completed film was given its World Premiere at the March social.
Preparations are well advanced for a period piece set in 12th Century Rural England Any interested 12th Century extras welcome.
