appointing were the Senior Basketball and Football teams, where we were fortunate if we fielded a complete side. If we are to be more successful next season, members of St. David's House must answer the call of duty if required by the captains.

St. Andrew's
This year, results have shown a slight improvement over recent years. For the first time in living memory, St. Andrew's did not end up bottom of the senior House Football, and actually tied for first place with St. Patrick's, because of the effort shown by the younger members of the team.
The basketball ran true to form — Andrew's taking the wooden spoon in both senior and junior competitions.
The crosscountry was more encouraging this year, the minors coming first, juniors and inters finishing second with some good times recorded by the minors. Finally, St. Andrew's were just beaten by St. Patrick's in the athletics' standards to make this a better year than usual.

St. Patrick's
This has been St. Patrick's most successful year ever. The house came first overall on sports day and also attained the highest points' total for Athletics' Standards. Patrick's virtually swept the board in the football, basketball and cross country tournaments.
The seniors tied in the football overall, while the juniors went one step further, by winning every game in their section. Both the juniors and the seniors won the basketball, maintaining a hundred per cent record. The seniors dominated the crosscountry, gaining first, second and third places.
Finally I would like to thank everyone who took part in the various events and for making it such a successful term for the house. At the same time I hope this success will be continued in the future.

St. George's
Despite great enthusiasm displayed by all the teams in the past year, we have not been so successful this season. However a high standard was displayed by all in the teams even if the results did not live up to all the efforts made. Best results came from the cricket team who again won the house championship
and the basketball and football teams who were both beaten in-to second place.
