However the juniors wefe successful in their junior netball, coming first and winning the junior trophy. Success was also found in the athletics when David's won the standards shield. Credit must also be given to the senior team which came second in their section. CM. St. Andrew's On the whole, the results have been quite pleasing this year. The tennis was fairly successful but the athletics was even better when we came first on sports day, winning the trophy. The hockey was more successful — the seniors tying for the trophy — and the netball was well played by both juniors and seniors. Thanks to all who played in the teams, and I hope the success will be as good next year! J.R. St. Patrick's This year has been most successful, owing to the enthusiasm within the teams themselves. Last season, both juniors, and seniors won their tennis tournament, making St. Patrick's outright winners. In the hockey and netball, the seniors were equally successful, as we won the netball, and drew for first place in the hockey with St. Andrew's. Although the juniors received no material reward, they worked hard and gained second place in the hockey, and were unlucky to gain only third place in the netball. Thus, as you can see, it has been a very successful year, and I hope it will continue to be so. I would like to thank all the teams for their support and hard work, especially Gillian Willmott, the junior captain. A.D. St. George's Although this year has not been very successful for the seniors, the juniors did very well to win the junior hockey, and achieved a high score in the house tennis. Thanks go to all who played in the teams and I hope next year there will be more supporters to cheer us on! D. B-D. BOYS St. David's This was an extremely disappointing year for St David's house. Our only victory came in the Junior Cross Country, and we were runners up in the Junior Basketball and Senior Cross Country. There has seemed to be a lack of enthusiasm within the house this year, causing these poor results. 22 Midland Bank believes that only the early and practical encouragement of first-class recruits to its service can produce the large number of future Managers and senior officials it needs Not only is planned and progressive training available at every stage, but today's entrants can also enjoy the benefits of: STUDY LEAVE Boys and girls with G.C.E. passes at 'A' level are among those eligible for leave to assist them in their studies for their professional qualification—the diploma of the Institute of Bankers.
