Science Society Forum Orchestra Dramatic Society Dancing Class (Gymnasium) Gramophone Society, Chess Club and Puppet Club At the beginning of the Autumn Term we welcomed to the school as permanent members of the staff Miss A. Owen and Mr. J. Skinner. Mrs. Fothergill left at Christmas on her appointment as Headmistress of a school in the Far East, while Miss Luks left at Easter to take up a position on the South Coast. We welcome her successor, Miss C. G. Hallam, to the school. On Friday, 11th October, the Old Scholars' Association held an Open Evening. The library was used for the occasion and was decorated with red lighting. 5
