Meetings this year have continued to be vigorous and enthusiastic: the subject of papers ranging from "The Rise of Christianity" to "Magic and Medicine", and "Creativity in Music" to "All Sorts of Strange Things". The Society would like to thank those members of Staff who have presented papers to meetings as guest speakers; they are : Mr. Allatt, Mr. Brumby, and Mr. Humphreys. Our thanks are also owing to the three Vice Presidents, Miss Strickley, Mr. Alderman, and Mr. Roberts, for their continued aotive support throughout the year, and especially to Miss Strickley, for her regular and unstinted hospitality to the Society.
