COE SET DRESSING MISS M. COE, SENIOR GIRLS Producers' Note Benedick is a confirmed batchelor, vain of his appearance, but scornful of women and romance. Beatrice, witty, sharp-tongued, is equally hostile of men. Whenever these two meet they scorn each other. Their friends contrive to make them believe that they are desperately in love with each other. Don John, the prince's villainous brother, schemes to bring pain and disaster to young Claudio, by blackening the name and honour of his wife-to-be, Hero. The school is very grateful for the provision of the lighting equipmeni used in this production, which was purchased by money contributed by parents and staff. The Producers would like to thank all those people whose help and co-operation made the production possible.
