The door furthest from the camera leads to the school corridor. Below : The interior ol the assembly hall, looking towards the kitchen and gallery end. Between the two service doors Is a counter and hatchway. The hall has a wood block floor and is panelled in sapeli mahogany with narrow strips of Sebrano dividing it into a bold rectangular pattern. Natural lighting is from clerestory lighting, the windows being centre pivoted and fitted with opening gear. Radiators are recessed in wooden frames of the same wood as the panelling. At the opposite end of the hall is a stage. Sliding flush doors are provided at the proscenium; these are normally closed to provide an additional class room.
